Comprehensive Assessment

A thorough comprehensive assessment is a medico-legal requirement. We adhere to all the medico-legal standards and more. We will take all necessary x-rays, photographs and, when required, exacting three dimensional models. Gathering as much information as possible about your previous experience and your present state of health, both medical and dental, will allow us to be able to formulate the most appropriate treatment to fulfil your needs and requirements. The assessment protocol is extensive, thorough and wide-ranging. Please allow up to one hour for your initial assessment.

The assessment will include:

• Full Medical History
• External Oral Examination
• Jaw Joint Assessment
• Intra Oral Examination
• Periodontal (Gum) Assessment
• Mouth Mapping (Recording Current Dental Condition)
